Terms of sale.

These terms apply to orders placed in the store at boredgameink.com. Bored Game Ink is my studio; the seller is my company:

Where I ship

Orders ship from two warehouses, run by my fulfilment partners:

• United States and Canada, from Texas, USA. Prices are in US dollars.
• Europe (the EU and the United Kingdom), from Germany. Prices are in euros.

I don’t ship anywhere else yet, including Norway and Switzerland. The country you choose in the store decides the warehouse, the currency and the editions you see, and your delivery address must be in that country.

Prices

Prices include shipping. In Europe they also include VAT at the rate of the country you ship to, and UK orders include UK VAT: nothing more to pay on delivery. No sales tax is added in the US. Canadian orders ship from the US, so Canadian customs may charge duties and taxes on delivery; these are paid by the buyer.

Editions

Games are sold in one language edition, shown on the product page and in your bag (for example, “French edition”). Please check it before you order. What’s in each box is listed on its product page.

Ordering and payment

Your order is placed once your payment is confirmed, and you’ll receive a receipt by email. Payments are handled by Stripe: your card details never reach me. Stock is small, so if an item turns out to be unavailable after you ordered, I’ll let you know and refund it in full.

Delivery

Orders leave the warehouse within 3–4 working days. My fulfilment partner emails you a tracking link when your parcel is on its way. If it gets lost or arrives damaged, write to me and I’ll send a replacement or refund you.

14 days to change your mind

You can cancel your purchase within 14 days of receiving it, without giving a reason:

1. Email players@boredgameink.com within those 14 days with your name, your order and a clear statement that you’re cancelling. You can use the form below, but you don’t have to.
2. I’ll reply with the return address. Send the items back within 14 days of your email.

Return shipping is at your cost. I refund everything you paid within 14 days of your email, with the payment method you used. I may wait until the items are back, or until you send proof that you shipped them. Please return the game in the condition you received it: if it lost value because it was handled more than needed to see what it is, I may deduct that loss.

This right comes from EU and UK law. I offer the same to buyers in the US and Canada.

Print-and-play downloads

Downloads are sold in euros, VAT included, everywhere except the United Kingdom for now. Right after payment you get a personal download link, on the confirmation page and by email. It works five times; if you need the files again after that, write to me and I’ll send them.

Because a download starts right away, you can’t cancel it once it has started: you agree to this at checkout, as EU law requires. If a file is damaged or doesn’t open, I’ll fix it or refund you.

The files are for your own use. Please don’t share or resell them. You print and assemble the components yourself; colours depend on your printer and paper.

Missing parts and faults

If something is missing, damaged or faulty, email me a photo. I’ll send the missing part or a new copy, or refund you, and I cover any return shipping. In the EU you also have a two-year legal guarantee on faults that were there at delivery; please tell me within a reasonable time after you notice one.

Complaints

Write to me first: I answer every email. If we can’t sort it out, you can complain to the Danish Consumer Complaints Board, Nævnenes Hus, Toldboden 2, 8800 Viborg, Denmark (naevneneshus.dk).

Law

These terms are governed by Danish law. As a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live.
