When you order

I receive your name, email address, phone number, delivery address and what you bought. I use them to deliver your order, answer your questions and keep the accounts the law requires. The legal basis is our contract and Danish bookkeeping law. Your card details are handled by Stripe and never reach me.

Who else sees them:

  • Stripe processes your payment and sends your receipt.
  • My fulfilment partners, FFE and 2Fulfill, and their carriers ship your order. They need your name, address, phone number and email to deliver it and send you tracking.

For downloads, I receive your name, email address and billing address instead of a delivery address. The files are stored with Cloudflare, which serves your download.

I keep order records for five years, as Danish bookkeeping law requires.

Newsletter

If you sign up, or tick “Keep me posted” in your bag, I store your email address (and your country, when you give it) with Brevo, to send you news about games and campaigns. The legal basis is your consent. Every email has an unsubscribe link, or just write to me.

On this website

There are no advertising or tracking cookies, and no analytics that follow you around. To see which pages get read, I use Vercel Web Analytics: it counts visits without cookies or anything stored on your device, and it can’t follow you to other sites. The site keeps two things in your browser, only to make the store work:

  • a cookie called ship_to, which remembers the country you ship to, for a year;
  • your bag, in your browser’s local storage, until you check out or empty it.

To suggest the right store on your first visit, my hosting provider, Vercel, tells the site which country you’re in, based on your IP address. I don’t store it. Vercel keeps short-lived server logs for security.

When you write to me

I keep our emails as long as they’re useful to help you, then delete them.

Outside the EU

Stripe, Vercel, Cloudflare and my US fulfilment partner process data in the United States. These transfers rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the EU’s standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct, delete or get a copy of your data, object to or limit how it’s used, and withdraw your consent at any time. Email players@boredgameink.com. You can also complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency, Datatilsynet (datatilsynet.dk).
